Congressman Chris Deluzio, currently representing Pennsylvania’s 17th district, shared a series of tweets addressing economic challenges and legislative efforts. Deluzio, who succeeded Conor Lamb in 2023, is known for his commitment to addressing corporate influence and supporting public services.

On March 26, 2025, Deluzio tweeted concern over the state of the American Dream, arguing that “the American Dream has been ripped away and life is too expensive for hardworking people.” He attributed this to political influence, stating, “It didn’t just happen: politicians carrying water for corporate power run amok helped it along.” Deluzio urged action against corruption: “Let’s fight this corruption without apology.”

The following day, March 27, 2025, Congressman Deluzio expressed gratitude towards fellow lawmaker with a tweet saying, “Thank you to @RepVenkat for introducing this bipartisan bill to protect Pennsylvanians from insurance companies that unfairly deny medically-necessary patient claims.” He emphasized the necessity of countering corporate power, viewing the bill as “a great example of how we can and should fight back at every level against corporate power hurting folks.”

Later, Deluzio voiced his support for postal workers, asserting, “I’m proud to stand with postal workers as we fight to protect and improve the core public service that only the Postal Service can provide.” He critiqued the current administration, showing resistance towards privatizing USPS as part of what he calls “their plot to plunder our government.”
