Congressman Chris Deluzio, U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania’s 17th congressional district, recently posted a series of statements on his official Twitter account addressing national and local issues.
On May 26, 2026, Deluzio commented on the financial burden of the ongoing conflict involving Iran, stating, “The American people are picking up the tab for this Iran War, and no surprise: we’re not happy about it.”
The following day, May 27, 2026, he expressed support for agricultural interests in Pennsylvania with the message, “Proud to help get this win for PA farmers!”
Later that same day, Deluzio congratulated a local government leader in Allegheny County by posting, “Congrats to Allegheny County’s new Council President, Michelle Naccarati-Chapkis! Wishing her and the Council success for the people of Allegheny County.”
Deluzio has been active in both national debates and regional matters since taking office. His recent comments reflect ongoing concerns about U.S. involvement overseas as well as efforts to support local agriculture and leadership transitions within Pennsylvania.
