Congressman Chris Deluzio, who represents Pennsylvania’s 17th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed a range of issues on October 7, 2025, in a series of posts on social media.
In a statement marking the anniversary of the conflict between Hamas and Israel, Deluzio posted: “My statement on the second anniversary of Hamas’ attack on Israel and the aftermath.” (October 7, 2025).
Later that day, Deluzio reiterated his opposition to efforts aimed at privatizing veterans’ healthcare. He stated: “I’ll fight tooth and nail against any effort to privatize the VA. We can’t endanger the care that my fellow veterans have earned—@VeteransPolicy is spot-on here.” (October 7, 2025).
In another post that evening, Deluzio criticized House leadership for canceling votes. He wrote: “Speaker Johnson canceled House votes this week and last. Republicans are afraid to have members in Washington—God forbid we get something done to reopen the government or get the last signature we need on a bill to release the Epstein files.” (October 7, 2025).
Chris Deluzio has represented Pennsylvania’s 17th District in Congress since 2023, succeeding Conor Lamb. Born in Pittsburgh in 1984, Deluzio is currently 38 years old and resides in Aspinwall.
