Congressman Chris Deluzio, who represents Pennsylvania’s 17th district in the U.S. Congress, has been vocal on social media regarding the current legislative activities concerning tax policies. Deluzio replaced Conor Lamb in 2023 and brings focus on tax legislative processes in these recent communications.

On April 29, 2025, Deluzio posted a brief and light-hearted message simply saying “lol”.

The following day, April 30, 2025, Deluzio drew attention to a proposed tax policy by stating “Republicans are trying to raise taxes on every car owner in America to help pay for their corporate and billionaire tax giveaways. I have an amendment to block it today in committee…”. His comments reflect ongoing debates over tax initiatives in Congress.

Later that day, Deluzio indicated his proactive stance against the proposed tax amendments, noting his involvement in legislative committees. He declared, “I had to turn up the pressure on the Republican-proposed car tax increase in committee this morning.”

Chris Deluzio, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1984 and living in Aspinwall, has focused his legislative efforts since joining Congress on representing the interests of his constituents in Pennsylvania’s 17th district.
