Congressman Chris Deluzio, who represents Pennsylvania’s 17th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed a range of legislative and policy issues on his social media account.
On October 8, 2025, Deluzio acknowledged the support of the Grand Lodge Fraternal Order of Police for his proposed legislation aimed at providing more protective equipment to law enforcement officers. He wrote, “Appreciate @GLFOP’s support for my bill to get more lifesaving bulletproof vests to our cops.”
Later that day, Deluzio commented on a report from the University of Pittsburgh regarding railroad safety. He stated, “This new report from Pitt shows yet another reason why we can’t trust the railroads to regulate themselves
We need to pass rail safety legislation to make freight rail safer.”
