On November 18, 2024, Congressman Deluzio expressed his support for local agriculture by announcing a grant for Breeze Ridge Farm in Marion Township. He stated, “Family farms are so important to the community, economy, and culture of our region. I’m thrilled that Breeze Ridge Farm in Marion Twp is getting an $8,000 grant to help meet their needs, protect their livestock, and lower their energy bills.”
Later on the same day, Deluzio raised concerns about financial scams targeting senior citizens. He advised caution by suggesting direct delivery of checks and using specific ink when writing them. His tweet read: “Predatory scammers are coming after our seniors. Protect yourself, deliver checks directly if possible, and always fill out your checks in black gel ink.”
On November 19, 2024, Congressman Deluzio advocated for family caregivers by supporting legislative action aimed at providing financial relief. He tweeted: “Family caregivers show up for their loved ones every day. It is hard work, and we should pass the Credit for Caring Act to give eligible caregivers up to $5k in tax credits and put money back in their pockets.”
