Chris Deluzio, a Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 17th district, recently shared his thoughts and legislative initiatives on social media. Deluzio has been vocal about several key issues currently facing Congress and the nation.

On March 13, 2025, Congressman Chris Deluzio expressed his support for a funding extension to prevent government shutdowns. He stated, “I think Congress should pass a four-week funding extension that stops harmful cuts, keeps government open, and allows Congress to reach a bipartisan funding agreement.” He also affirmed his readiness to return to Washington to vote in favor of this measure.

Later that day, Deluzio addressed concerns over corruption within federal agencies related to Elon Musk-owned companies. He highlighted specific incidents involving the Labor Relations Board and the Office of Government Ethics (OGE), stating “Corruption is rearing its ugly head in Washington: Labor Relations Board filed a complaint against Musk-owned SpaceX the Labor Dept’s independent investigator FIRED Office of Gov Ethics (OGE) was asked to investigate Musk’s conflicts of interest OGE Director FIRED…”

In another post on March 13, 2025, Deluzio promoted legislation aimed at preventing veteran suicides by providing free gun lock boxes. He urged for the passage of this bipartisan bill named “Saving Our Veterans Lives Act,” saying “Let’s pass my bipartisan ‘Saving Our Veterans Lives Act’ to provide free gun lock boxes to veterans and interrupt the tragedy of veteran suicide.”
