Congressman Chris Deluzio, who represents Pennsylvania’s 17th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of messages on his social media account addressing civic participation and federal authority.
On November 2, 2025, Deluzio shared a brief message: “#HereWeGo https://t.co/6fDK8zdAvU”.
Two days later, on November 4, he highlighted the importance of voting during Pennsylvania’s Election Day. He wrote: “Today is Election Day in PA! The right to vote is sacred and the very foundation of our democracy. Your voice matters—make it heard today at the polls. https://t.co/0KcM39TUcR”.
Later that same day, Deluzio addressed concerns about presidential powers under federal law. He posed a question regarding reforms to the Insurrection Act: “Q: Why do we need to reform the centuries-old Insurrection Act that gives presidents so much power to deploy troops to on American soil?
Chris Deluzio has served as U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania’s 17th District since replacing Conor Lamb in 2023. Born in Pittsburgh in 1984, Deluzio currently resides in Aspinwall.
