House GOP discusses energy crisis and PJM capacity auction impact

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail, representing Beaver and Washington, will lead a hearing on October 1 at 9 a.m. The event is titled “Fighting to Keep the Lights On in PA” and will focus on the recent PJM capacity auction and its implications for preventing blackouts by 2030.

The hearing will include testimony from Jason Stanek, executive director of government services at PJM. It will take place in Room 418 of the House Republican Caucus Room at the State Capitol in Harrisburg.

According to the announcement, “Barring any technical difficulties, the hearing will be streamed online at PAGOPPolicy.com.”
