House GOP Policy Committee Hosts Hearing on Biden’s Blockade of LNG Exports

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail, along with Rep. Martina White and other lawmakers, will be hosting a hearing titled “Fueling Pennsylvanian’s Future: Liquid Natural Gas” to address the negative impacts of the arbitrary pause on LNG exports. The aim is to emphasize the importance of Pennsylvania energy in the global context.

During the hearing, various speakers will contribute their insights on the matter. Carl Marrara, executive director of the Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association, John Bane, director of government affairs at EQT Corporation, and Rob Bair, president of the Pennsylvania Building & Construction Trades Council, will be among those participating.

Chairman Kail highlighted the significance of the hearing by stating, “The world is a better place with Pennsylvania energy.” The event is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 8, at 10:30 a.m. in Room 418 of the House Republican Caucus Room at the State Capitol in Harrisburg. A press conference will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Main Rotunda of the State Capitol.
