House GOP Policy Committee Hosts Hearing on Consumer-Focused Energy Policy

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail and Rep. Abby Major, along with other lawmakers, will be hosting a hearing titled “Balancing Your Budget and Thermostat: Consumer-Focused Energy Policy” to address the costs of energy in Pennsylvania. The event will feature industry and consumer testifiers, including Mike Butler, the mid-Atlantic executive director of the Consumer Energy Alliance. The hearing is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 3, at 10 a.m. at Butler County Community College @ Armstrong, Ford City, PA.

Kail highlighted the focus of the hearing, stating, “The goal of this hearing is to discuss ways to protect consumers by controlling the costs of energy in Pennsylvania.”
