House GOP Policy Committee Hosts Hearing on Consumer-Focused Energy Policy

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail (R-Beaver/Washington) and other lawmakers are set to host the second hearing in a series focusing on “Balancing Your Budget and Thermostat: Consumer-Focused Energy Policy.” The aim of the hearing is to discuss ways to protect consumers by controlling the costs of energy in Pennsylvania. Joining Kail at the hearing will be Rep. Jim Gregory (R-Blair) along with members of the committee and testifiers Mike Butler from the Consumer Energy Alliance and Emily Stripe from Vistra Energy.

The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 2, at 1 p.m. at the U.S. Hotel Tavern, located at 401 S. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648. For those unable to attend in person, the hearing will be livestreamed online at PAGOPPolicy.com.
