House GOP Policy Committee to hold hearing on human trafficking

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail, alongside Rep. Clint Owlett and other lawmakers, is set to host a hearing titled “Uncovering Human Trafficking.” The session aims to define human trafficking under state law and shed light on efforts to identify, stop, and prevent such activities in Pennsylvania.

Participants in the hearing will include Korrin Moon, founder of Lantern Rescue; Scott Henry, president of Northern Tier Law Enforcement Instructors Group; Jeff Rush, founder of Three Springs Ministry; Tom Marino, district attorney for Lycoming County; Joseph C. Peters, district attorney for Wyoming County; Heather Castellino, chief deputy attorney general in the human trafficking section of the Office of the Attorney General; and Gabriel Fabian, special agent in the human trafficking section of the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, September 19 at 10 a.m., taking place at Three Springs Ministries located at 874 Linck Hill Road in Morris, PA. For those unable to attend in person, the hearing will be streamed online at PAGOPPolicy.com, provided there are no technical issues.
