Pennsylvania’s tourism potential focus of House GOP policy committee hearing

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail, alongside Representative Jeff Olsommer and other lawmakers, will conduct a hearing titled “Passport to Prosperity: Unleashing Pennsylvania’s Tourism Potential.” The event aims to address the challenges and opportunities within Pennsylvania’s tourism sector.

The hearing will feature several speakers including Bradley Kiesendahl, President and CEO of Woodloch Resort; Ronald R. Schmalzle, Vice Chair of Pike County Commissioners; and Genevieve Reese, First Vice Chair of Pocono Mountain Visitor Bureau. These individuals are expected to provide insights into the current state of tourism in Pennsylvania.

Scheduled for Friday, September 20 at 10:30 a.m., the hearing will take place at Woodloch Resort located at 731 Welcome Lake Road in Hawley, PA. For those unable to attend in person, the session is set to be streamed online at PAGOPPolicy.com, contingent on technical capabilities.
