GENEVA COLLEGE: Geneva College announces a guaranteed decision for college admission

Zz

Geneva College issued the following announcement.

Geneva College announces a guaranteed decision for college admission by December 18, 2020, for high school seniors and transfer students who complete their application with required materials by December 16, 2020.

The expedited application review and admission decisions enable families to plan earlier for the new year and the college experience of their students. In addition, students with a confirmed acceptance at their school of choice often experience a peace of mind unavailable to students who must continue to wait for decisions from colleges.

A completed application for Geneva admission consists of an online application, available at https://apply.geneva.edu/apply, and official school transcripts. The college recently made standardized test scores optional for admissions for most majors due to the difficulty inherent in taking standardized tests in pandemic conditions. Additionally, there is no application fee, so there is no cost for submitting and completing the application. The Geneva application does not require a written essay, either.

In addition, Geneva recently began the process of notifying incoming students of their financial aid award package, a major consideration in college planning and selection. Geneva offers numerous scholarships and grants for students based on academic performance, geography, religious affiliation and more.

Geneva College is a Christ-centered academic community that provides a comprehensive education to equip students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor. Offering over 145 traditional undergraduate majors and programs, fully online Adult Degree Programs and high-demand graduate degrees, Geneva’s programs are recognized for their high quality. Geneva has one of the top 100 undergraduate engineering programs in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report. Adhering to the truth of Scripture, a Geneva education is grounded in God’s Word as well as in a core curriculum designed to prepare students vocationally to think, write and communicate well in today’s world. Geneva was founded and is governed by the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA) and is a founding member of both the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) and IACE (International Association for Christian Education).
