Ross Elementary School issued the following announcement on Jan. 2.
Our annual Kindergarten Forum for parents of incoming 2022-23 kindergarten students will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Ross Elementary School. The event will also be streamed live on the district's YouTube channel.
A panel of kindergarten teachers and administrators will discuss kindergarten readiness, the readiness assessment, the curriculum and what a typical day looks like in kindergarten in the North Hills School District. The presentation will also include a question and answer session.
This event is for parents/guardians only. While the Ross Elementary Auditorium is a large space with ample seating, we are asking that only one parent/guardian attend, when possible, to allow attendees to sit a safe social distance apart.
Kindergarten registration for the 2022-23 school year will open online on Monday, Jan. 24.
