City of Aliquippa issued the following announcement on Mar. 10.

The City of Aliquippa will be holding it’s Annual Spring Clean-up & E-Waste Recycling Day in recognition of Earth Day 2022 and The Great American Clean Up of PA on April 23, 2022 from 10:00 to 2:00.  Waste Management will be delivering 3  30-yard dumpsters on April 23rd that our residents can use for free until Monday, April 25th in order to:

• Organize a neighborhood clean up
• Get rid of household items or trash that may not fit in the new WM cart
• Help us control littering & dumping by disposing household waste responsibly! This is a great opportunity for free disposal!!

TO RECYCLE E-WASTE, residents can visit us at the STREET DEPARTMENT on Kennedy Blvd. for our Drive-Thru Recycling Collection from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm with Noble Environmental specialty recycling. Registration required (Credit/debit cards only).
