BEAVER – Rep. Josh Kail (R-Beaver/Washington) issued a statement in response to the assassination attempt that occurred at the Trump rally in Butler on July 13:
"My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, President Trump, and all the great patriots who attended Saturday’s event.
President Trump was the victim of an attempted assassination, an attendee of his rally was murdered, and others critically injured. This attack on our democracy is utterly unacceptable and must be uniformly condemned.
Americans deserve to know how this happened, and I have confidence that we will get answers in the coming days."
