Deluzio, who succeeded Conor Lamb in 2023, is actively engaging with energy projects, workers' rights issues, and public health campaigns.

On January 30, 2025, Deluzio highlighted Pennsylvania's historical role in the energy sector. He expressed pride in joining Governor Shapiro to announce the "Lightning Project," aimed at enhancing energy security by lowering costs, creating jobs, and protecting environmental resources. The announcement was made via a tweet where he stated: "PA has a long history in the energy sector, and we ought to play a big role in moving the country toward energy security. Proud to join @GovernorShapiro today to announce his new 'Lightning Project' to lower energy costs, create good-paying jobs, and protect our air & water."

Later that day on January 30, 2025, Deluzio addressed an attack on the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), describing it as an attempt to undermine worker protections. He criticized what he termed as favoritism towards corporate interests over workers’ rights by stating: "This illegal attack on the NLRB is about gutting the cop on the block defending workers’ rights. It’s a giveaway to lousy union busters. And it tells you exactly who the President cares about: corporate bosses."

On January 31, 2025, Deluzio encouraged participation in National Volunteer Blood Donor Month through another social media post. He urged individuals to donate blood to support those in need by saying: "January is #NationalVolunteerBloodDonorMonth. Giving blood is giving life to our neighbors in need. Please consider donating blood today."
