Hearing to explore Pennsylvania's tourism potential

State Rep. Josh Kail | Pennsylvania 15th Legislative District

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail and Representative Jeff Olsommer, along with other lawmakers, are set to host a hearing focused on Pennsylvania's tourism industry. The event, titled “Passport to Prosperity: Unleashing Pennsylvania’s Tourism Potential,” will examine both the challenges and opportunities that the state faces in this sector.

The hearing is scheduled for Friday, September 20, at 10:30 a.m. It will take place at Woodloch Resort located at 731 Welcome Lake Road, Hawley, PA 18428. Key figures slated to testify include Bradley Kiesendahl, president and CEO of Woodloch Resort; Ronald R. Schmalzle, vice chair of Pike County commissioners; and Genevieve Reese, first vice chair of Pocono Mountain Visitor Bureau.
