Rep. Clint Owlett and the House Republican Policy Committee, chaired by Josh Kail, organized a hearing to address human trafficking in Pennsylvania. The session aimed to define the crime under state law and emphasize efforts to identify, prevent, and stop it.
The event, named "Uncovering Human Trafficking," was held at Three Springs Ministries. Owlett highlighted that human trafficking is a growing crime impacting all communities. He emphasized enhancing law enforcement resources and community education as vital steps toward combating this issue.
Josh Kail acknowledged progress in public safety but insisted more work is needed to eradicate this crime in Pennsylvania. He expressed hope for restoring justice for affected individuals.
