Vogel and Kinkead to open Capitol Hunger Garden season

Senator Elder Vogel, Jr. and Representative Emily Kinkead are set to inaugurate the 15th season of the Capitol Hunger Garden on May 7. The event will take place at 10 a.m. at the garden located between the Main Capitol Building and the Ryan Office Building in Harrisburg.

The press conference aims to showcase how the local community benefits from the produce grown in this garden. The initiative is part of their efforts as co-chairs of the Legislative Hunger Caucus, which operates on a bicameral and bipartisan basis.
