“We are beyond excited to host homecoming on the Penn State Beaver campus,” Colleen Sherman, director of alumni relations and development, said. “We have a long weekend of activities planned to celebrate all things Penn State Beaver with our alumni, our community and our entire Penn State Beaver family.”
Penn State Beaver Lion Ambassadors also are invited to attend the Saturday event for a reunion. Lion Ambassadors represent the best of our campus. Students who participate in the co-curricular organization help during campus events and tours.
There are invitation-only events planned for October 13 and 14 to engage students in networking with alumni and to give alumni a chance to catch up with one another ahead of the Saturday event.
“Penn State Beaver’s homecoming event is one more example of how, as a commonwealth campus of a land grant institution, we serve our community in so many ways,” Chancellor Dr. Jenifer Cushman said. “Through this effort, we are delighted to welcome local residents to enjoy our lovely campus and interact with Penn State alumni and friends.”
Everyone is invited to support the Penn State Beaver Women’s Volleyball team in their 5 p.m. homecoming match against New Kensington in the gym.
