On January 21, 2025, Congressman Deluzio reflected on the impact of a Supreme Court decision made fifteen years ago. He stated that the ruling allowed "unrestricted corporate and dark money to corrupt our elections," emphasizing his belief that political power should rest with the people rather than those with substantial financial resources. "The people should have the power in our politics, not those with the deepest wallets that can flood elections with money."

The following day, January 22, 2025, he commented on another Supreme Court decision from 1973 concerning Roe v. Wade. Deluzio expressed disappointment over the court's recent actions regarding abortion rights: "It’s shameful that the Court took this freedom away from so many women and families." He pledged to continue advocating for keeping politicians out of personal healthcare decisions.
