Chris Deluzio, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania's 17th District since 2023, has been vocal on various issues affecting his constituents. In recent social media posts, he has addressed topics ranging from international diplomacy to domestic funding and infrastructure safety.

On January 28, 2025, Congressman Deluzio highlighted the case of Marc Fogel, a school teacher from his district who has been imprisoned in Russia for over three years. Deluzio stated, "Marc Fogel is a school teacher from my district who's been wrongfully imprisoned in Russia for over three years. I joined @SenMcCormickPA, @SenFettermanPA, and House colleagues in a letter to @SecRubio asking him to do everything he can to bring Marc home."

Later that day, Deluzio expressed concerns about efforts by former President Trump to freeze federal funding approved by Congress. He noted the impact of this action on essential services in Western Pennsylvania. He tweeted on January 28, 2025: "My office has gotten a lot of calls about Pres. Trump's effort to freeze congressionally-approved federal funding. This $$ supports our cops, firefighters, teachers, kids, and so much more. Know this: I'm gonna fight to get this funding unfrozen and delivered to Western PA."

On January 29, 2025, Deluzio participated in an event with local officials in Tarentum focused on rail safety legislation. The town is notably divided by railroad tracks. Reflecting on past incidents like the Norfolk Southern derailment near East Palestine two years ago next Monday, he emphasized the need for legislative action: "Today I joined local officials in Tarentum—a town cut in half by railroad tracks—to renew my push to pass rail safety legislation. Monday will mark two years since Norfolk Southern’s disastrous derailment in East Palestine next to my district."
