On February 3, 2025, Congressman Deluzio highlighted ongoing legislative challenges concerning railway safety. "Two years after Norfolk Southern's derailment, Congress still hasn't passed my Railway Safety Act. It's a damn shame." He urged Vice President Vance to leverage his position to encourage congressional Republicans to support the bipartisan bill.
The following day, February 4, Deluzio addressed fundamental American rights and principles. In a tweet he stated: "Making your voice heard is as American as apple pie and baseball. Know this: I will stand as firm as ever for our Constitution and against robber baron plundering."
Also on February 4, he communicated constituent concerns regarding federal governance issues. "My office has been hearing from constituents, worried and angry about the Administration's attempts to freeze federal funding for our communities..." These concerns included attacks on public servants and control over Treasury systems.
