Chris Deluzio, currently serving as a Congressman for Pennsylvania’s 17th district, has made various public statements via social media touching on manufacturing, corporate influence, and social security. Deluzio, who assumed office in 2023 replacing Conor Lamb, has been vocal about investing in American manufacturing and protecting social benefits for citizens.

On March 28, 2025, Congressman Chris Deluzio emphasized the necessity of boosting domestic manufacturing, particularly in the shipping industries. Through his platform, he articulated that the production of ships, including aircraft carriers and commercial vessels, should be prioritized. Deluzio argued for investment in manufacturing, highlighting that every worker and component is critical to national interests "I talk a lot about how we need to make more stuff in America—that includes ships, from aircraft carriers to big commercial vessels. But we need to invest in our manufacturing, like the members of the @ACIBC. Every worker, every turn of the screw—It’s all a part of our national".

Further addressing economic concerns on March 29, 2025, Deluzio voiced criticism of corporate influence, implicating it as a burden on consumers and a corruptive force on national policies. He described this situation as "swampy nonsense" and noted its detrimental effects on the American Dream "Corporate power isn't just screwing over hardworking people with higher prices—it's corrupting our entire system. It's swampy nonsense that needs to end if we're gonna restore the American Dream.".

On March 30, 2025, Deluzio reiterated his stance on the protection of Social Security against perceived threats from the current administration. He assured continued dedication to safeguarding the benefits that many rely on for a dignified livelihood, asserting the mounting pressure as an indication of progress "We're standing our ground to protect Social Security, and the pressure is making a difference. I will keep standing strong against this Admin and any attempt to rip away the earned benefits people count on to live with dignity.".
