Who’s Missing???It’s here again, the Christmas season, I’m picking up the pace, So much to do in a few short weeks, it’s such a crazy race!But I’m prepared, I’m good to go, all the names are on my list,Yet there’s a voice inside that’s saying, “Wait, there’s someone that you missed!”No time to think, keep pushing on, Hey, there’s an open parking spot!There’s just no way I tell myself, that there’s someone I forgot.But that little voice just won’t let go, and now I start to worry,Did I miss someone important because I was in such a hurry?I thought and thought and checked my lists to see what I could find,And realized that Someone very special never came to mind!Could it be the One I forgot and treated like a stranger, Was the reason why we celebrate, the baby in the manger??I couldn’t help but feel a sudden change of heart,How would Christmas be different, if I thought of Jesus from the start??Would I have felt a sense of joy for the Lord that I adore,Instead of making every task seem like just another chore?So, let’s slow down, take some time, to remember and recall,That the Gift that God has given us, is the greatest Gift of all.As we gather our gifts and set the tree that we’re about to trim, We know that Jesus remembers us, let’s be sure to remember Him!!
