State Rep. Josh Kail | Pennsylvania 15th Legislative District
The House Republican Policy Committee, chaired by Joshua D. Kail (R-Beaver/Washington), along with Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland) and other lawmakers, will host the second hearing in a series titled "Back to School." The event aims to highlight the efforts of public schools in Cumberland County to provide quality education while respecting taxpayers.
Participants in the hearing include Dr. Mark Leidy, executive director of the Pennsylvania Association of Intermediate Units; Dr. Andrew Bitz, superintendent of Mechanicsburg Area School District; Danielle Eisner, a science teacher at Cedar Cliff High School; and Mike Gossert, a member of the Cumberland Valley School Board and president of the PA School Board Association.
The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 10 a.m., and will take place at the Mechanicsburg Area School District Administrative Building located at 600 S. Norway St., 2nd Floor, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
