Congressman Chris Deluzio, representing Pennsylvania’s 17th district since 2023, has been vocal about his political stance and concerns regarding national security and veterans' welfare through recent tweets. Deluzio succeeded Conor Lamb in Congress and is known for his commitment to addressing issues of corruption, corporate influence, and military matters.

On March 25, 2025, Deluzio shared a vision aimed at rejuvenating American politics by urging the Democratic Party to take a firm stand against corruption. He emphasized the importance of focusing on lowering costs and challenging corporate power. "I'm laying out a new vision for our politics to restore the American Dream. It’s time for the Democratic Party to grow a spine and focus on fighting corruption, lowering costs, and taking on corporate power."

In another tweet dated March 26, 2025, Congressman Deluzio criticized Secretary Hegseth's decision to use the Signal app for communication involving classified material despite warnings from the Pentagon about its vulnerability to hackers. He expressed concern over potential risks posed to servicemembers due to this practice. "Secretary Hegseth's own Pentagon warned just last week that the Signal app was vulnerable to hackers—yet he and the most powerful people in America still used it to communicate about classified material, putting our servicemembers in danger. It is indefensible."

Additionally, Deluzio highlighted the necessity of providing comprehensive health care services for veterans as part of bearing the cost of war. He stressed that there should be no excuses or betrayals when it comes to delivering both physical and mental health care for those who have served in uniform. "Paying the cost of war means delivering the best health care—including mental health care—to those who served in uniform. No excuses, no betrayals."
